OMG -- You're engaged! Now what??

You've said "Yes!" and taken the best #ringselfie ever, now it's time to get serious about the dress. Yay! Here's your guide for what to do next:

1. Define Your Look

When it comes to your wedding day aesthetic, focus on your personal style and don't overthink the rest. Keep your mind (and options) open when you begin your wedding dress search. After all: This is your day! Want to wear a ballgown on the beach? Go for it! Just make sure it's the "right one" that works. If you're getting married in a traditional church go with a dress that's clean and classic. Psst! That doesn't have to mean boring ;)

Thinking drama? For a hotel ballroom or even an outdoor garden ceremony, try a tulle ballgown in blue or blush...

Lastly, if you're looking for something sexy, go with a gown that's fitted with illusion lace and lots of sparkle! These dresses are perfect for any rooftop or city soire.

2. Pin it

Start channeling all of your ideas on Pinterest. It really is a great way to organize your thoughts visually! Bring your wedding inspiration board with you to your first bridal appointment and show your consultant -- This can help her pull the right dresses for you if you don't already know what you want.

3. Make an Appointment

This is where the fun really begins! Start by booking an appointment at one of our partner salons. If there's a specific gown you want to try on be sure call ahead of time and request it (we'll send it as soon as possible for you to try on) because not every salon carries every gown.

Tip #1: Limit your entourage. Don't bring too many people with you to your first appointment... We suggest a close family member and one or two BFFs.

Tip #2: Be prepared. Wear the right under garments, like white or nude panties and a strapless bra. You should even consider doing your hair and light makeup before the appointment -- you want to feel good when trying on wedding dresses!

Tip #3: RELAX. Enjoy the wedding dress shopping process! However, don't forget this process takes time and it's important to try various shapes, necklines, and treatments. Your first bridal experience shouldn't be too specific in order to narrow down your favorites. So don't worry! We're here to help and as a brand you can trust we go above and beyond to make sure our brides are happy, beautiful, and satisfied with their purchase.

Our business is to make your dreams come true!
